The prepared expert opinion indicates the main assumptions that are crucial from the point of view of the further development of AI in Poland and suggested scenarios for their implementation. The development of this technology is of great importance both for the Polish economy and its position in the international arena, and will affect the business models and competitiveness of domestic enterprises or the further directions of our society development

The document assumes the need to integrate four key elements: human capital (science, education, talents), including the impact of AI on the labour market and the required competences and skills, innovation (research, development), investments and implementations, taking into account infrastructure and the operating environment, including legal regulations.
This is to allow for the implementation of five strategic goals of the future AI development policy:
- Goal 1: Development of the economy, digital industry, social well-being and human autonomy supported by an efficient artificial intelligence ecosystem.
- Goal 2: Implementation and financing of R&D and artificial intelligence implementations carried out in an effective and transparent manner.
- Goal 3: Providing appropriate computing infrastructure and data resources to facilitate the artificial intelligence development.
- Goal 4. Development of a society with above-basic competences in the area of practical application of AI with professional support from the world of science.
- Goal 5: Application of artificial intelligence solutions in prevention and diagnostics and in order to save human health and life. Improving the quality of healthcare services.
AI, which is increasingly intuitive and integrated with the environment, may become the answer to the next civilisation challenges related to demography, sustainable development or national security. However, this requires well-thought-out actions in the development of artificial intelligence, including research and scientific research, education or the commercialisation of research results, taking into account various fields and scientific disciplines
