DeepSeek – wciąż pod lupą

The development of generative AI means that new models and tools are appearing on the market that work similarly to the ones we already know: ChatGPT or Gemini. DeepSeek, developed by a Chinese startup, appeared on the market at the end of January of the current year.

However, the tool is still controversial. Some countries, such as Canada and Australia, have banned its installation on state institution devices. In Italy, the Personal Data Protection Office decided to block access to this model, justifying it with the protection of the privacy and personal data of its citizens. In Poland, the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) published a statement in January recommending caution in using this tool. Particular attention was paid to the issues of collecting and storing user data or using this data without providing legal protection in line with the European standards.

At the same time, there are other models on the market that generate more than just text, from the Chinese technology giant Alibaba, such as Qwen or Wan 2.1. Will they achieve spectacular success, not only on the Chinese market? We will find out soon.
