The workshop Scents of Healing: Reading Greco-Egyptian Perfume Recipes, led by Dr Sean Coughlin (Czech Academy of Sciences), was organised as part of the Horizons of Humanities 2024 programme. Using an adapted ancient Greek formula for an aromatic oil called metopion, participants prepared their individual samples of the cosmetic.
