University of Lodz took part in the first EU Hackathon

 

Hackathon Tech was organized in the frame of SHRINEs by the Fudazione SAFE for innovative tech solutions to handle risks in worship sites.

 

Biohazard Prevention Centre’s team and project’s key experts (prof. Michał Bijak, Marcin Podogrocki, Karolina Tomczyk, Maksymilian Stela, Adrian Siadkowski, Rafał Batkowski, f. Waldemar Pastusiak, f. Jacek Kacprzak, Natalia Zimnowodzka, Łukasz Grabowski, Łukasz Szymankiewicz) took part in the event.

 

It was a productive three-day event that have united: startups, research centers, universities, SMEs, and European project consortia, emphasising inclusivity and multidisciplinary collaboration.

 

Participants faced four real-life challenges related to the protecting places of worship and public spaces hackathon and have to find solutions.
