The 2024 WMGIC x NATO Countering Disinformation Challenge will take place on 1 November 2024 on Zoom.
Students will compete to propose the best way for NATO to counter disinformation from a policy perspective in one of the following topic areas: Artificial Intelligence, Public Health, Russia-Ukraine War, Gender-Based Violence, Terrorism, Climate Change (Climate Security), Climate Change (Clean Energy), and Human Rights.
Any undergraduate student team from a university resident in a NATO Member or Partner Nation is invited to register. Applications to participate in the competition can be submitted until 25 October using the form (the organiser reserves the right to close the application process earlier). Applications must be submitted by a team of at least 3 students. Individual applications are not accepted.
