The destination is Chile, where members of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble "Kujon" will take part in the 17th International Festival of Culture and Dance. They are going to the festival at the invitation of the organisers of the event – the Pilficam Group and the CIOFF (International Council of Folklore Associations, Festivals and Folk Art) in Chile, and the trip was facilitated by the recommendation of the Polish Section of CIOFF, whose verification was granted to "Kujon" in May 2024.
The folklore groups performing during the festival, in addition to "Kujon" from the University of Lodz, will include representatives from Latvia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina and the hosts – Chile. The festival will take place between 14 and 25 January 2025.
