The nationwide results of the prestigious Perspektywy ranking were announced on 11 January 2024. Secondary schools were assessed based on three criteria:
- the school successes in school olympiads
- Matura exam results in compulsory subjects
- Matura exam results in additional subjects.
Data from sources external to the assessed schools – protocols of the main committees of the school olympiads, lists of Regional Examination Boards (OKE) with the results of matura exams in compulsory and additional subjects, as well as data from the Educational Information System were used to compile the ranking.
It should be noted that the Righteous Among the Nations State Secondary School of the University of Lodz was ranked a high 22nd among all 1001 secondary schools assessed in Poland and 2nd among secondary schools in the Lodz Voivodeship.
These types of rankings confirm the high quality of work of both students and teachers of the highest-rated schools. The result of this work is, among other things, a high pass rate in these schools, which in turn translates into a place in the ranking
– said Agata Kasprzyk-Maryniak, Director of the State Secondary School of the University of Lodz during the Perspektywy ranking gala at the provincial level, which took place on 11 January at the Biedermann’s Palace and was organised by the University of Lodz.
