On 12 April 2018 3rd Interantional Tax Seminar on Special Tax Zones takes place at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Łódź. Its aim is to present the final results of a legal and comparative research conducted as a part of the international project "Special Tax Zones" during a scientific conference summarizing its results.
This international research project is carried out by the IBFD in Amsterdam in cooperation with the Centre and 10 other foreign scientific institutions from 5 continents. This project encompasses many years of research into the special tax zones of different countries, which are areas where tax rules are more favorable than those generally applicable in a given jurisdiction. The purpose of this project is to answer the question of what are the tax benefits of the zones now and in the future.
