Prof. Tomasz Kamiński Opens REPIT Conference with Keynote Lecture

We are pleased to share that Prof. Tomasz Kamiński, Chair of the Paradiplomacy Lab, delivered the opening keynote lecture at the conference of the Latin American network of paradiplomacy researchers REPIT (Portuguese: Rede de Pesquisa em Internacionalização e Paradiplomacia Territorial). The event took place on November 21–22, 2024, in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.

Prof. Kamiński’s keynote focused on comparative analysis of Europe’s paradiplomatic relations with China and the United States, as well as insights into the landscape of paradiplomacy in Asia. His lecture provided a comprehensive overview of the complexities, challenges, and opportunities in international cooperation of subnational actors, emphasizing the growing importance of region and cities in shaping global diplomacy.
