The conference was opened by prof. Zhao Gang, deputy rector of the Beijing university and the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Beijing, Wojciech Zajączkowski. Prof. Mierzejewski took part in a panel devoted to China's relations with Poland and presented a paper on historical policy and various interpretations of history in bilateral relations.
