Prof. Jeffreys was an active member of the Byzantinological community, belonged to the Australian Association for Byzantine Studies, and edited the Byzantina Australiensia series, to name some of her activities. She belonged to Ceraneum since its founding, and was a member of the Research Council of our Center. In April 2009, she personally visited the University of Lodz. At that time, Professor Jeffreys attended the meeting of the doctoral semianrium of the Byzantine History Department and gave an open lecture to history students.
