HORYZONTY HUMANISTYKI 2024: TAJEMNICE ARCHEOZOOLOGII

Professor Vedat Onar and Professor Aleksander Chrószcz, members of the international team of zooarchaeologists conducting their research at the Port of Theodosius in Istanbul, will share the results of their research with us next week.

Professor Vedat Onar (Istanbul University) – Director of the Osteoarchaeology Research Centre in Istanbul, he regularly collaborates with European and Canadian universities. His research at Theodosius’ Harbour is crucial in enriching our current state of knowledge on meat consumption in Constantinople.

Professor Aleksander Chrószcz (Wroclaw University of Life Sciences) – his research interests include the history of veterinary medicine and archaeozoology. He regularly collaborates with Professor Vedat Onar.
