The presentation of the “Pasjonaci” awards to ten teachers from the region of Lodz was held at the seat of the Education Authority in Lodz.
Dr Jan Pajor has been a teacher at the Righteous Among the Nations State Secondary School of the University of Lodz since 2011. He is always ready to help and take care of the safety of students and he enjoys great authority among them. He is open to new tasks, cooperates in school evaluation programmes and innovative projects, such as "Talented at School, Brilliant at the University" programme (a programme to which the University of Lodz invites high school students with a passion for research and/or specific scientific interests) as a supervisor of outstanding students.
He has a rich teaching background, which results in very high results achieved by students at secondary school examinations. The history science club led by Dr Jan Pajor enables students to achieve success in subject Olympiads and history competitions. Every year, he promotes Olympians who achieve success in the History Olympiad at central level. In the recent ranking ‘100 Laureates for the 50th Anniversary of the History Olympiad 1974-2024’, Dr Jan Pajor was ranked 4th in Poland and 1st in the region of Lodz – at the State Secondary School of the University of Lodz he has promoted as many as 11 History Olympiad winners.
