It is extremely important for the University of Lodz to be even more visible than before on the Polish and international arena and to strengthen the relations between the university and all entities – people and institutions involved in working for the good of Lodz. The University of Lodz is a great asset of the city. I would really like us, as the University Council, to support the university in activities that will make Lodz an even better city, attracting young people. Not only attracting them for studies, but also so that after completing their studies these people with initiative, ideas, well-educated would want to stay in this city and connect their lives with it

Dr Jarosław Suchan, the President of the University Council, spoke about the priorities in its activities.
