Dr Wanda Baranowska is the project coordinator, while the substantive team on behalf of the University of Lodz consists of: Dr Małgorzata Kosiorek and Dr Ewa Kos.
The primary objective of the EASY project is to promote attitudes and behaviours that contribute to strengthening the European identity, including active and conscious citizenship, and to prepare adults to create a world based on the values of tolerance and democracy.
Based on the results of international desk research and focus interviews with adult educators, a framework for a course to support adult educators and learners in acquiring knowledge and the ability to understand the mechanisms of stereotyping and discrimination was developed.
The course framework includes a set of learning outcomes in the areas of knowledge, skills and social competences related to the European and national qualification frameworks. In addition, methods for their validation and verification have been developed. The methodological materials prepared by the project team refer to feature films and comics that touch on the subject of stereotypes.
