At the beginning of April, prof. Mierzejewski took part in two scientific meetings. During the International Studies Association conference in San Franciso, he took part in a panel promoting the book "Global China Handbook", published by Routledge. The panel was attended by, among others: Prof. Bill Callahan, Dr Marina Rudyak and Prof. Chih-yu Shih. In a panel devoted to promoting the Chinese development model during the Transatlantic Dialogue on China in Paris, Prof. Mierzejewski discussed the preliminary results of research on China's presence in developing countries. The issues for discussion were prepared as part of financial research conducted by the National Science Center "Belt and Road Initiative in developing countries: The People's Republic of China as a multilateral and normative entity" UMO 2019/33/B/HS5/01667.
