The summer school will bring together 20 selected fellows and five experts, including researchers, representatives from NGOs, business, and the technology sector. Participants will engage in discussions on international law, internet governance, and regulation of new telecommunications infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on Low Earth Orbit satellites.
The event aims to deepen knowledge of the challenges emerging at the intersection of international law, internet governance, and the operation of internet infrastructures. The school is part of the project "Global Governance of Low Earth Orbit Satellite Broadband” within the "Decolonizing the Internet" program supported by the Internet Society Foundation. Since 2023, the project has been in its second phase, focusing on "Trust and Data Governance." Detailed information about the school is available on the SSIGIL website.
